A turning point for me, I feel this is one of my strongest paintings, based on a memory of car journeys in childhood, when you are semi awake in the back and the passing landscape / townscape is a fleeting rainy blur, the abstract forms are reminiscent of buildings / river / rain.
Bold underneath layers, geometric shapes, yellow / black / red with the silver leaf. 60 x 80 cm in a painted wooden frame.
